Aceptable use of SteamID


This Policy is a guide to the acceptable use of SteamID network facilities and services (Services). Any individual connected to The SteamID Guest network in order to use it directly, or to connect to any other network(s), must comply with this policy and the stated purposes and Acceptable Use policies of any other network(s) or host(s) used. The following guidelines will be applied to determine whether or not a particular use of the Services is appropriate:

The Services may not be used in ways that violate applicable laws or regulations.

The Services may not be used in a manner that precludes or significantly hampers network access by others. Nor may the Services be used in a manner that significantly impairs access to other networks connected to the SteamID network.
This includes using browser extensions, scripts and other tools that may effect the performance of SteamID for other users.

SteamID operated on a fair use and on a common sense basis, You may from time to time open multiple links per second but consistant hitting of the database with massive page loads may result in your being rate limited or worse.

If you are logging in using multiple Steam Accounts which have SteamID bans, or any kind of Valve ban and your account is linked You may find them both blocked from using SteamID services.

Connections which create routing patterns that are inconsistent with the effective and shared use of the Services may not be established.

Repeated, unsolicited and/or unwanted communication of an intrusive nature is strictly prohibited and may result in a ban of your linked account or possibly a ban of your IP address.

By logging on, you agree to hold SteamID harmless for any damages that may result from access to the Internet or inappropriate usage.

SteamID may block commonly used or shared proxy or VPN connections that maybe abusing its service. Any user found trying to bypass SteamID blocks maybe banned.
